Howdy All!
Planning on doing a two week trip in Scotland in late June/early July of this year. Planning on flying into Edinburgh and heading to Isle of Skye before ending the trip in Inverness. The trip will just be my wife and myself, she has lived in Scotland in the past, but never made it all the way up to Isle of Skye. We are both in our late twenties
Do any of you have any particular lodging recommendations for Skye? We have our places to stay in Edinburgh and Inverness (AirBnB's), but it doesn't look like there are as many options in Skye/Portree. Would love to keep the price down to a reasonable amount, the rest of our lodgings are in the ~$200 per night range, but I have a feeling that may not be reasonable in Skye. There is a hotel with $425/night rooms, would love to not have to pay that if I can get away with it.
Any other Isle of Skye recommendations would be welcome. Thanks ahead of time!
