Looking for any recommendations for a tour that will pick up our group from Dubai, take us to Abu Dhabi and tour the sights there and bring us back.

Also considering just getting a car in Dubai, driving to Abu Dhabi and getting a tour group there and provide our own transportation to Abu Dhabi if that is cheaper.

Wait a couple of years and you can take the HyperLoop. Abu Dabi to Dubai in 12 minutes.

What are you looking at doing?

I don't really think a tour group would be necessary in Abu Dhabi.

I'd just get a car and drive myself and see all the sites that I would want to see.

I for sure wouldn't miss the following:
Sheikh Zayed Mosque (don't go on a Friday)
Abu Dhabi Market
Emirates Palace hotel
Abu Dhabi Corniche

Other places of interest:
Heritage Village
Dates Market
Ferrari Wold Theme Park (pending on your time limit)
Yas Island (pending on your time limit)
Abu Dhabi Marina Mall
