After a lot of back and forth about which job to accept, I have decided on a move to teach in Siem Reap. I visited the town once a few years ago but just for a few days to see Angkor Wat. I am wondering if anyone here has spent significant time there? Any tips or advice?

Had an English friend of mine teach there. He really liked it but at that time the pay was not great so he acquired a job at the Shanhhai American school. Probably different now with increased foreign investment albeit mostly from Chima.
I was a Cambodian linguist in the Air Force and spent some time there. I'm sure it's changed a ton since I was there back in 2000. I'm jealous
