Love steamboat, havent been to the music fest in 6 years. When I checked prices for this year they seem to have gone up significantly since last time I went.

First time going but going with a group that has previously gone.

Anything to do or not do?

there's a new (as of last year) German beer bar not technically on the mountain but within a short walk from the base that has a pretty decent beer selection (not all german beers) and relatively cheap and quick food like sausages you can grab for lunch. Wasn't ever really crowded even in the middle of lunch last year. there's another good beer bar in town called the barley, I think that always has a good selection.

Get your flu shot. We all came back sick after our trip.

That was taken care of a few months ago.

For future reference, is this something that younger kids (6 & 5) could be entertained over the days or is it very heavily adult-centric?

If they wanna get high in the tents from all the second hand pot or hotboxed gondolas
