Wife and I went in early October a few years ago and it was fantastic. Only used fast passes for the one or two top attractions at each park and everything else was a wait of 15 min or less.

We used DVC Rental this past visit and it worked well. If you have a decent size group going, it might be worth checking out. I highly recommend staying on the monorail if possible. It makes travel a lot easier and there are better dining options throughout the monorail.

Victory, you were in park for early hours. Makes it a lot easier. An hour start always helps. Peter Pan was 115 minutes by noon, as well as Space Mtn, & Seven Dwarfs.
We made multiple rides on Splash, Space, Thunder, And then went to Animal Kingdom at Noon for multiple rides on Everest. Went to town to eat. Disney dining was long, long lines.
Glad your day was easy. There were many that were not. Ours was as planned.

The Monorail only goes to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom; plus resorts Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Polynesian.
