Going skiing in December and wondering what is the best footware for a 10 year old. We will be skiing a couple of days but also doing a lot of other outdoor activities in the snow. Would like them to be waterproof and comfortable. I dont want to spend $100 but willing to go above the $20 options.

Also, what would be the best thing to do in Denver on Christmas Eve?

Academy has kids snow boots,(under their Magellan brand name) for less than $25.

Don't spend a lot of money on shoes for kids. They will probably outgrow them during the trip.

All the Walmarts here sell that kind of gear cheap. We just had friends visit and they bought some stuff at Costco and Walmart once they got here to get them through the trip.
