Need Eovaldi back. Hopefully Mahle just needs a couple of weeks to rest.

Rocker earned another start, although it was the White Sox.

We have a break schedule wise right now. Royals playing badly, then Pittsburgh, who is terrible. then Baltimore. With a day off at the beginning and end.

Hope it was worth it for Civale…going from a playoff contender to the…CWS

36-36 with 90 games left. If the Rangers can go 6-4 over their next 10 games, 9 times...that will get them to 90 wins.

I'm sure there is a better way to put it, but let's just start thinking about going 6-4 for the next 10.

Historically it has been to just win each series. 2-1.

It has led Bochy to put in some real WTH stinker lineups on a Sunday after winning Fri+Sat.

That would be a difficult challenge. I'm bad at math so someone correct me if my math is wrong but going 6-4 would be a .600 winning percentage. If we had performed at that level to start the year we would be 42-28 right now which would be pretty good. Going 6-4 consistently for the rest of the year will be very difficult. Maybe we can get there if we go on a 15-5 run at some point though out the season. Right now we are playing winning ball so perhaps we are in the middle of a 15-5 type run.

We aren't going to need 90 to make the playoffs.

I didn't think I needed to add the Rangers GS. I use that for opposing teams to see if they have been the SP. Like Burrows, who has 5GS... not the original SP for the season.

Not sure why we pushed Corbin and deGrom. Matchup? Or navigating fill-in options?! I suspect Rocker will get one of the TBDs in Pit. Dunning likely to go tomorrow?!

Overall, the matchups have been moved to really favor the Rangers. No Skenes in Pitt. deGrom getting some favorable matchups. Maybe we'll get some Ws for him.

We'll be at the midpoint of the season after these 9Gs. Can we get 7-2?!

I'm moderately encouraged by the games over the past 10 days. We found a way to win close games, manufacture runs, and even got the occasional timely hit.

Don't think Bochy's blood pressure has changed one tick all season.

Yeah, "if we just play 0.600 ball the rest of the way!" is rather silly. I doubt there's more than one or two 90-game stretches where Texas has played 0.600 ball in the last decade.

Saw someone indicate CY said Eovaldi should be back in the rotation in 10-12 days.

Also, I enjoy CY's interviews. Here one from yesterday or earlier today?! Mentions Gray and Bradford in genera.

I'm hoping Eovaldi is back for that last game with Pitt.

NEED Mahle to just be tired.

Another podcast suggested Eovaldi is back after one more BP session - Mahle ight around July 1 and Bradford July 4.

Is the V+ app trash sometimes for anybody else? I've tried to start the game 4x and can't get in. Not a one-off either. It's almost like if they're in a commercial break you can't get in.

Or it just sucks sometimes.

Saw a new MLB mock draft, has the Rangers picking a HS SS. They have Jace dropping all the way to 19 to the Orioles.

As much as I'd like to see an Ag playing for the Rangers, I hope they pass on Jace. Waaaaay too much swing and miss there, and I think he's going to be a really low average hitter with power - sort of like the higher end of Gallo. JMO
