It was never going to be easy - especially when guys started going down with injury.

Has there been any update on Jake? I know they said he was running on a flat surface this past weekend.
They showed a clip of him doing resistance band sprints in Florida. His hair was perfect
Ankles?
Subway?
Sumlin has lost control of the Astros lockerroom.

But I heard someone saw him run fast through many holes

The Mariners are going to cool off eventually. If they don't, you can't control that. Just focus on winning each series and control what's in front of you.

blowing a 7-game division lead
for the F'ing love of god, please quit saying this………
4 starters from Opening day are not in this lineup….. 6 pitchers out. Closer out…….
this isn't a team "blowing a lead"…. Wanna blame somebody? Blame the 7-8 players from Sugar Land that kept us in it….. this is not a blown lead. My god, 2/3 of this team has been on the. DL……. Saying that we blew anything is a disgrace,

Just win 2/3 in every series against good teams and sweep the bad ones.
It's that simple.

lol it's that simple?
That would give any team a record of like 130-32 for the year.
Backing out of a team sale a mere two weeks after the biggest fire sale we’ve seen in a quarter century is VERY bold https://t.co/qDVk7nfZTU

Soyattle, to their credit, has taken care of business against lesser opponents. I hate saying this, but if they go on to take 4 of 6 or even split vs. NYM & Philly, they will have earned 1st place.
We don't have anyone producing like their big 3 of Doper, J-Rod & Arozarena, and even with the Sugar Land Astros, we are tied with just over a month left. We should be more than happy to sit back and let it play out.
More concerning than Seattle is how our guys look when they finally return from injury. Spaghetti has been bad. I have doubts about Jake returning to his June form after being out for an extended time. And I don't expect Yordan to contribute meaningfully until next season. That's the one that's really pissing me off…

Minus the 4 walks in 5 innings
That needs to get cleaned up.

The Astros called up Jordan Weems and optioned Colton Gordon to Triple-A.

I was watching last night on the MLB app and I saw it go from 2-0 to 5 to 8 to 10 and when I was going to bed I saw 12...
SP was doing fine. It was the bullpen that blew it. Offense didn't show up either, but if you could have held to 4 runs, I think it looks like a different loss. 12-1 vs. 4-1 hits different.
