Yeah I was thinking you should be able to check and see if the ball has made it to the bag (maybe this is the part that doesn't have a camera dedicated to it yet?) and then use the down-the-line shot to confirm foul/fair. I assume that will happen eventually - baseball already has a lot of tracking tech, not sure how precise it is on the ball though.
One of my buddies works for the Giants and he showed me the MLB database where you can look up any play all season and see motion tracked movements of all players on the field, including (I'm pretty sure) their arms and legs. It's wild.
