If Singleton can produce at an above league average level vs RHP we have something valuable in a platoon & off the bench. Unless lack of opportunity is stunting Singletons growth or Abreu getting right, both can be valuable pieces.

I'm going to the game tomorrow. If they can win today, that atmosphere at MMP with JV on the mound is going to be absolutely electric. Borderline playoff atmosphere.

If anyone else is going, come find me at Little Woodrow's downtown before the game and we'll slam a shot.

Devastated after buying $5k in furniture from gallery furniture in Feb that year! Was sure I would get a refund!

Abreu and Peña. A top 7 that is producing then lessens the impact of weakness at 8 & 9.

Hope for Singleton is he can provide close to what you could expect from a vet bat that the Astros weren't able to land at the deadline.

Let's be clear, that's not a small task (ie Astros were after Josh Bell).

Then again let's remember Mancini's performance last year.

Singleton has had one AB for the Astros this season, which had a good outcome. I look forward to seeing what he can do but let's tap the brakes until then.

Abreu figuring his **** out requires a time machine to deage him 4 years. His swing looks like it did the first 2 months. All arms, no rotation and very slow.

We lost because Scherzer was cheating his ass off with the spider tac that year and Sosa was juiced big time.

Something the Astros haters fail to mention when trying to take away our 2017 ring.

What might be most awesome about our pitching is having guys of the quality of Javi, Brown and France pitching BEHIND our two aces.

That's some serious talent for guys on the back end of the starting rotation.
