I wouldn't go any more than 6 yrs on Correa. I might do 6 yrs at 200mm , maybe 225. Any longer than that and it's just too much potential dead space if he loses it. It could cripple them for a long time.

He's only played 120+ games once I think

won all six 4-game sets they have played (vs. A's, Mariners, Angels, Rangers, Red Sox, White Sox)

I fully expect Dusty to roll with Jones, Garcia, Toro and Stubbs tomorrow. He is allergic to sweeps.

I love how this squad is making statements against the tougher teams on the schedule. I think the White Sox came in a bit too cocky for their own good and are finding out where the AL pennant still goes through.

Can't wait for the LMJ-Keuchel matchup tomorrow.

Honestly, so long as we keep winning these 3 and 4 game series, I am ok if we dont sweep all the time.

Correa is the poster child for playing well when you want to. He is nails in the playoffs.

But this will be the best statistical year in his career. Calling my shot now.

He will play through the discomfort and he will focus and put up his best. Wouldnt want him on a long term guaranteed contract.

regarding Correa...his OPS has reached .900

the Astros originally offered 6 years. I think they would go to 7 years. Maybe 8.

but if he wants 10 years...how many teams could offer him that kind of contract & money?

most of the usual big spenders are set at shortstop or already have three $30 MM per year players.

one exception is the Cubs. They might be ready to move on from Baez and maybe Bryant too
