Lance Lynn is another guy...

upon looking at his game-by-game log...in 6 starts vs. the Twins, Tigers, Royals, and Orioles, he's been outstanding.

just 3 runs allowed in 36 innings.

but against the top half of the league...he's been good; however his ERA is 1.5 to 2 runs higher (especially after tonight)

Robel had like a .960 OPS in AA & AAA. Hit 32 bombs in 2019 between minors and the Cubs. Good glove, versatile. He might be a late bloomer.

I encountered a 9 year old at a birthday today wearing a Rangers hat. I decided to get my digs in and ask his dad if the son lost a bet, pointing to the cap.

The dad's own dad worked for the Rangers' ticket office for 35 years.

That was somewhat awkward.

I think the guys most in the bulls eye are ones throwing 96-98 with crazy movement. Bauer, Cole guys. I bet a lot of relievers are doing it. Joe Kelly comes to mind.

That slider would make you wonder. I think other than Lance our starters are fine. And if the other relievers are doing it it's not helping cause we walk the crap out of batters.

That's when you double down and ask the dad if he was ever able to actually sell the tickets in the ticket office, or of he just gave them away.

I thought Altuve got an infield single and advanced to 2nd on the throwing error in the first. They are saying he reached on the error. Seemed like a very improbable play to make . I wonder if they'd have given him a hit if no throw was made?
