Should we be a little suspicious that Nelson Cruz is hitting better at ages 38-40 than he did during the any year since 2010?

We have the second worst farm system in the league. We need to be accumulating prospect talent, not selling it.
There's little prospect talent we have that's worth keeping... thus the dismal ranking. It would definitely take a volume trade (quantity for quality) but I think the Astros are too close this year to roll with internal bullpen solutions. What will one guy cost us? Not necessarily a Hand or Hader type, but someone that can have a clean 7th or 8th inning. That shouldn't break the bank, and it being a younger guy will keep the team under the tax threshold.
Is that guy out there and available? I dunno.

He's batting .391 on the year (9/23)
ERA is down to 0.57 tonight, and BAA down to .123 thanks to the Padres going 1 for 15 so far tonight.Johnsy3 said:

When we get healthy who are the 5 in the rotation. Greinke, McCullers and who?
