the Blue Jays brass won't come out and say it...but they have to be majorly disappointed in their Springer signing.

Vlad Jr. is having a great season. Marcus Semien is having a great season (but on a 1-year contract). And the Yankees are vulnerable.

Toronto has a 3 to 4-year window with their current nucleus. And year 1 (2021) is looking shaky w/o George

He already moved from A to high A after 4 HR and 17 RBI in just 16 games with the Woodpeckers. He's got another 4 HR and 6 more RBI in 11 games with the Tourists. He keeps playing well we need to get him to AA by midsession.

You look at the A's RD in 18, 19, 20. Usually not as high as ours but not out of line when compared to other division winners and wild card teams. Look at it this year. They're not going to keep the pace. We'll be able to keep ours and probably then some.

When they showed them on the broadcast blummer said "That's a long trip from La Grange." No one said anything. Not sure if TK and Julia got the reference. It was awesome

I had it muted while watching this joke of a boxing event... it was an incredibly bad strike call that was about 6 inches off the plate

The thing that the broadcast won't mention is that a very bad strike call with RISP ended the Red Sox side a couple innings prior. Yes it was a bad call but the gnashing of teeth over it was typical Yankees. We've been victims of this crap (see yordan) way too many times.

So I was watching a few career simulations on MLB THE SHOW 21 yesterday and I was trying to track how the Astros did. I want to present you with two options. If you got to pick one of them as the Astros future which would it be (10 seasons was the sim he did, from years 2021-2030)

Option 1: Made playoffs 9/10 times, 3 pennants, 1 WS title

Option 2: made playoffs 3/10 times, 2 pennants, 2 WS titles


I'd go option 2, but I'm curious what y'all would do. Also Yordan won multiple MVPs in like every simulation I've seen
