Cole just got the record for Ks without a walk at 59. Who did he strikeout? Gallo.
He doesn't hit fly balls. He hits mammoth pop ups that wouldn't even get out in Yankee stadium.
His K numbers are ridiculous but what shocks me most to almost an unfathomable level is that he has only 1 sac fly in his entire career.

They pulled the pitcher immediately after that, which was definitely a good thing. I remember a few weeks ago in the Harper incident, young kid fresh out of the minors nails Harper in the face and Gregorious in the ribs on back to back pitches. They couldn't pull him because of the 3 batter rule. They should really add a provision for "umpire's discretion" to allow pulling a guy in that scenario.
