Sounds like Scrubb is OK, he's warming up.

If it's not Stanek or Pressly no lead is safe.

ERA down to 2.70.
Kind of wish they would have left Lance in until either someone reached or the PC got to an uncomfortable # (~105+).
leave LMJ in this inning was the correct choice.htxag09 said:
Honest question, who would everyone have chose instead to finish this game?

Stanek might not be the best example... were you watching last night? He did exactly what Scrubb did, 0-2 pitch middle-middle for no ****ing reason. We had just spotted him a bigger lead.Ag_07 said:

Agreed. He zipped through the meat of the order in the last inning with few pitches and no hard-hit balls. Put him in until he gives up a hit, then put whoever is next in there. Maybe his arm hurt, but otherwise it's pretty frustrating. He's the ace. Let him be the ace.bearkatag15 said:leave LMJ in this inning was the correct choice.htxag09 said:

He's ridiculous. Like if Lance and Springer were one guy.Fat Bib Fortuna said:
Ohtani just jacked a 2-run homer i the top of the ninth to put the Angels up on Boston. Guy's on pace for 50.
In Straw's defense, if he swings, that's most likely a 275' fly ball out.Buck Compton said:
Of course I know it's Straw, but their guy throws the same exact pitch that Scrubb did and the bat never leaves our shoulder. They crushed the mistake. We watched it.

Touche. Which is what it was for Maldy (same exact pitch).Harry Dunne said:In Straw's defense, if he swings, that's most likely a 275' fly ball out.Buck Compton said:

He's a way better hitter against righties, but his results as a pitcher are pretty similar vs RHB/LHB so I'm going to say advantage to hitter Ohtani.tjack16 said:Harry Dunne said:He's ridiculous. Like if Lance and Springer were one guy.Fat Bib Fortuna said:

Fun hypothetical.
Pitcher Ohtani vs batting Ohtani. 100 at bats. What are the results?

That's a strikeout.
