I was thinking about this in the 1st inning, and then again when Straw was batting. If you're gonna put a guy like Robel at leadoff, game against a AAA pitcher is as good as any time to do it.

and like that he's down 0-2

Based on the stats they just spit out Robel is absolutely putrid as a right handed hitter. So of course we play him against the lefty starter and sit Altuve, who is crushing lefties.

This is the kind of crap that really bothers me, and I believe it's 100% Dusty Baker making these sorts of decisions without any input from anyone else.

didn't they have on a graphic last night that Altuve was hitting .400 against lefties? Best in the league at the time, I think.

Meanwhile Garcia came into the game at .095 and is now even lower. Unbelievable.
