scratch that...it was still a terrible idearedline248 said:
I was thinking about this in the 1st inning, and then again when Straw was batting. If you're gonna put a guy like Robel at leadoff, game against a AAA pitcher is as good as any time to do it.
and like that he's down 0-2
This is the kind of crap that really bothers me, and I believe it's 100% Dusty Baker making these sorts of decisions without any input from anyone else.Harry Dunne said:
Based on the stats they just spit out Robel is absolutely putrid as a right handed hitter. So of course we play him against the lefty starter and sit Altuve, who is crushing lefties.
Nice.
The Astros knocked out Benjamin in the 2nd. Is he going to sue them too?

didn't they have on a graphic last night that Altuve was hitting .400 against lefties? Best in the league at the time, I think.redline248 said:This is the kind of crap that really bothers me, and I believe it's 100% Dusty Baker making these sorts of decisions without any input from anyone else.Harry Dunne said:

His ERA in 2017 was 6.31 with Toronto.
— Michael Schwab (@michaelschwab13) May 14, 2021
Before the Houston game on August 4th, his ERA was 5.49. He had given up 34 hits, 25 ER, 24 BB prior.
In 2016, his ERA was 6.83 over 27.2 innings with the Dodgers
I think it's time for Mike to stop pointing fingers and look in a mirror
So Bolsinger filed a suit vs the Astros in Los Angeles, to get sympathy from Dodgers fans.

Bolsinger was a Blue Jay when he played the Astros, only TWICE in his career.
The judge threw it out because he knew it was silly.
Now Bolsinger files in Harris County. What a stretch..

watch out now... Tucker is up to a .220 batting average
Tucker is now 9-for-22 (.409) in the last seven games with eight RBIs.

It's probably the most common outcome
