It takes Maldonado around 90 feet to come to a complete stop anyways, his momentum forced him home after hitting third

Blum listed about a dozen reason for Straw not to try to steal 3rd. So dumb. And biggest reason was Uncle Mike was batting with one out - lo and behold he rips one to the wall and no one is there to score.
I forgot to even mention that not only did he go with the best clutch hitter on the team up, but you never steal 3rd with a lefty at bat.

When you've got a guy like Straw averaging more than 5 steals per season, you have to just give him the green light every pitch.

Agree it was on his own, cause we couldn't even get the runner from first to steal as well
It was a terrible decision and he was out before he even started to slide
The Straw experiment needs to end. Bring up Siri and let him strike out. At least he has some pop and doesn't seem like an idiot.
