The question is would you bench straw or Tucker for Diaz. Straw is probably at or near his peak (at least for this point in his career) which isn't good. Tucker is playing horrendously but we know he's better than this.

Have we even tried Tucker in CF? I might be willing to see that experiment to get Diaz more ABs. Hell we played Berkman there. Could Tucker possibly be worse?

Diaz in left, Brantley in right, Tucker in center until he either figures it out or we trade for a real center fielder at the deadline

I would have liked to have seen that too, possibly getting Mike 2 ABs before the end of the game. You would hope we're going to get to at least the 7th spot in the 9th inning. Let's see if Dusty wakes up long enough to put him in the game.
