This is how numbers can be a little misleading in multiple ways.

He's had a ton of strike outs or weak contact in some very pivotal points in the last 2 weeks. Most times it feels like they have been 7th inning or later and either bases loaded or 2 men in scoring position and he isn't making competitive at bats

At the same time he is squaring a lot of pitches up and hitting it right at people but most of these are when nobody is on base and not a crucial moment.

So it's a little of both
