It would be an even larger anomaly if he continues to have the contact he's having and bat .165.

Maybe he's the next Rob Deer. That guy would have loved 2021 -

Seven seasons hitting 23-33 HR, driving in 64-86 runs, and hitting .220 for his career.

Looks like worst batting average with 100 RBI is Tony Armas who hit 36/101/.218 in 1983 for the BoSox

He's been incredible today. Probably helped the angels had no way to scout or prepare for him. Sadly, I don't think he can pitch in the post season because of the suspension.
