Just another instance where the eyeball test doesn't match up with the facts. He's got good bat speed, but his unorthodox mechanics & that he sometimes cheats on the up and in pitch he has trouble with and therefore sometimes gets fooled & ends up twisting himself into the ground can make his bat look slow.

He's got a ton of talent and has won me over. He's hitting the ball good and they will start to fall his way soon enough, but I think he is successful in spite of his technique and definitely not because of it.
