Yeah but Tucker is a good fielder. The only question about whether he could play center or not would be his range. He played center a good bit in the minors and he has really improved as a fielder. I'm not saying he'd be Griffey Jr out there but do you think he'd be at least able to hold down the fort in order to get a good bat out there in right.

But I guess that's irrelevant now that Straw is mashing

His speed has been significantly down this year. Usually that means your nursing an injury, coming back from an injury, or aging out.

I don't think his range is as much of a problem as is his inability to read baseballs.

He reads a ball off the bat about as well as my 9 year old nephew. And that kid sucks in the outfield

I think folks forget he has been an all star fairly recently. He is a very solid player when healthy.

Honestly the YouTube broadcast is pretty good. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Vascurgen has been good and Blummer is solid as always. Thank God that hack Dolen hasn't gotten much time.

Was the Mike Scott no hitter an afternoon game?
Seeing that video and I realized for the first time how many men were in dress shirts and ties in the stands.

(Or was that just what things were like for going out to a game in the 80s?)
