I totally agree - it's just that his chosen profession has gone south in a hurry.
He can motivate them all he wants but if he continues to make absolutely boneheaded decisions that don't give them a chance to win he's gonna lose the clubhouse real fast.

Who can we call up to take Smith's place. He shouldn't see the field again unless it's AAA to try and figure things out.
The good news is Dusty told Yordan to head back to the hotel about 45 minutes ago when he batted Toro instead of him. So, Yordan should be a little more rested tomorrow afternoon when we try to avoid being swept by the worst team in baseball.

It avoids the DP but his run doesn't matter. We need 5 this inning. Taking an extra base does little.
Positive - all 4 guys this inning have hit the ball very hard.
