Just leaving the game and that was the weirdest event I've ever been too. Sat in 242 (left outfield upper deck). Got loud for a few pitches and would be sold out, but creepy quiet most of the time. Definitely feels more like the ws on tv than live. I think it's because of the way people are spread out. Definitely been to louder Tuesday night poorly attended Rangers/Rockies/etc.
Ballpark will instantly be middle of the pack at best as someone who's been to 15+. Concourses are narrow and felt crowded. Would be obnoxious sold out. Bathrooms were poorly designed either small, one way in and out the same way with narrow entries, and for being new, all the women complained about non auto flushing toilets which made sense. Exiting lot b was also one of the weirder things I've seen with how they rotated car lines. Would have been miserable if sold out.
Food was also god awful, but I'll blame that on Covid. Ridiculous they didn't have peanuts/ popcorn/pretzels though anywhere and sold out of all ws gear the night before. Nachos were stale and cold hot dog.
As a whole, glad I got to go to a game this year, but the ballpark lacks character and you can tell was designed to make premium $$$ over everything else. Didn't feel at all like a ws game. Probably won't go to another game until bigger crowds. Tv wins currently.
