I take that to mean that it will be Correa's "turn" to respond when the season starts. Any time he wants to negotiate, they will listen.

I'll do it if no one else does. Can't make any promises it'll be any good. But I can promise it will be heavy in TED, charts, graphs, #s, TED, stats, analytics, and TED.

Last offseason we got to 9.9k but I guess that probably had more to do with Covid and an extra-long offseason.

Well played sir, I love your style.

I again nominate Mathguy, and out of sheer entertainment nominate Nuke to give us his take on the off season and his predictions for the season as we open it up tomorrow

My season takes are page 2 fodder at best...

Let's make some predictions

Record:
Finish: [Champ, World Series, ALCS, ALDS, WC, or miss Playoffs]

Team MVP:
Team Cy Young:
Team Batting Champ (highest avg):
Team HR Leader:
Team Rookie of the Year:
Record: 95-67
Finish: Head - ALCS Loss Heart - WS Champs over Dodgers....again

Team MVP: Carlos Correa (I assume no deal by 4/1 and he goes off in a contract year)
Team Cy Young: Jose Urquidy
Team Batting Champ (highest avg): Michael Brantley (professional hitter Uncle Mike)
Team HR Leader: Air Yordan (Stays healthy, DH's most of the season and leads the league)
Team Rookie of the Year: Lets get a little bold here.... Pedro Leon

Not bad

Record: 95-67 (AL West Winner)
Finish: World Series - loss to LAD

Team MVP: Alex Bregman - will finish top 3 MVP; followed by Kyle Tucker - will get MVP votes for his 30/30 season.
Team Cy Young: Lance McCullers Jr
Team Batting Champ (highest avg): Michael Brantley (.307)
Team HR Leader: Yordan Alvarez
Team Rookie of the Year: Enoli Parades (Just under the 45 day limit, I think)

Yup. We nailed the W/L total.

World Series champs

Tucker offense MVP. Sky is limit with Correa and Yordan hitting behind him.

Greinke team Cy Young. Pitched great last year before he got hurt. Rest of rotation should be solid.

ROY: Oh I dunno, how bout LUIS GARCIA.

As fans we need to stay patient with the bullpen in early season. It will be fine by playoff time.

You nailed MVP and ROY and the comment about bullpens.

Finish: Div champs out in the ALCS

Team MVP: Yordan. He goes for 50/150
Team Cy Young: I would have said Framber. I'm taking a flyer on LMJ
Team Batting Champ (highest avg): Altuve (.312)
Team HR Leader: Yordan, he hits 50 Cuban piss missiles
Team Rookie of the Year: Garcia

Almost the record, called the champ, got the CY, HR leader and ROY. Not bad.

Thanks buddy. 102 wins was prob a little bullish and didn't take into account all the injuries/rest that accrued throughout the season. We're where we wanna be right now tho.

Team HR Leader: Alvarez (37)
Team Rookie of the Year: not sure who all qualifies for this but I'll say Luis Garcia

Man I was off on a lot

1 off the win total, way wrong on batting champ, MVP and Cy young but nailed team rookie of the year and Yordan HR leader
