Bregman 2.0 still dropping 40+ this year.
What are the thoughts on going after Braun?? He can easily be gotten for pennies on the dollar... and would be a good Right-handed bat off the bench.
Between Brantley, Tucker, & Yordan there will be very few available ABs at a corner OF or DH spot.

Braun would need to be used as a RH bat off the bench. I think his recent past performance doesn't dictate a full time role. And he would be VERY cheap.
What makes you think he has any interest in playing a limited role coming off the bench for someone at pennies on the dollar?
We really only have 1 spot open on the 40 man roster once Verlander goes on 60-day IL. I doubt we want to fill it with someone who will rarely see the field. I also doubt we have room on the 26-man for him. I'd rather sign a starting pitcher or an everyday CF.

In regards to CF, what are potential trade targets? On the cheap side, I think Jake Cave could be interesting from the Twins. He's ok defensively but is a lefty who hits righties well (.803 career OPS) so he'd be a good platoon partner with Jake (plus you then always have a Jake from rake farm in CF).
Frontline workers, the elderly, and those otherwise at higher risk are still in the process of getting vaccinated. People wanting to be entertained without interruption is not a valid reason for baseball players (or any athlete for that matter) to jump the line.CFTXAG10 said:

Feels disrespectful to have us give so many run though. Our pitching and defense is plenty good to be top half of the AL.

I'll take a division title all day long. 93-96 wins should get us there comfortably. It'll be interesting to see if the Angels finally put it all together. We've been hearing it for 5 years now on "this might be their year with the pieces in place"

It wouldn't surprise me if many pro athletes have already been vaccinated. I also understand why the leagues wouldn't advertise that--just looks bad all around if healthy 18-40 year olds are getting the vaccine before grandma and grandpa...
