We're so freaking aggressive at the plate. We let this guy get 20+ pitches in the first inning and then he's only at 44 pitches going into the 4th. We have completely abandoned working pitchers.

He's been the offensive MVP. Without him this team is fighting the Rangers for dead ass last. He carried them for the three weeks when they played the best.Farmer1906 said:
We just need to clone TED.
Then you would need to start Straw, Toro, Mayfield, or Diaz somewhereAggie95 said:
can we DFA Reddick...like tomorrow. Just tell him he is opting out of the remaining games.
To be honest, at least Straw is driving the ball - he could at least drive in a run that's on 3rd base.BCSGrubber said:Then you would need to start Straw, Toro, Mayfield, or Diaz somewhereAggie95 said:

This team is lost at the plate. Where is the power? The swagger?

I honestly don't think we make the playoffs.
Wouldn't surprise me if we get swept here and only win 1 in TEX.
With the way this offense is playing, and the road record we currently have, and that we went like 2-11 or whatever on the last road trip, is it really inconceivable?Farmer1906 said:Ag_07 said:

You "honestly" think we finish 1-6? Really?
I think going 2-5 and finishing at 29 wins is distinctly possible. And it sucks to say that.Farmer1906 said:Ag_07 said:
