And he will be less effective. And anything he throws tomorow takes it out of him Friday if it gets that far. Look at Petit. Third straight day and he got hammered.

Correct. We're still in very good shape so long as Grienke is good to go tomorrow. Even if he's not, we should be able to find a way to win 1 of 2.

Im just dumbfounded at how balls are flying out of parks in the playoffs. I wonder if MLB messed around with playoff balls again. I'm convinced they did last year with HRs was down.

Look at the how hard the HRs have been hit. These aren't little dinky hits. These are mostly being crushed.

Don't get me wrong, it does carry better during the heat of the day, but the announcers are overselling it.

I'm pretty nervous about tomorrow. With the pitching depth issue tomorrow is super important for Houston.

That leaves the As with Bassitt on short rest, Johnny Allstaff or our boy Pookie.

They are going to leave their #3 starter on the bench in an elimination set of 3 straight games if it comes to it. That speaks volumes.

No it wasn't.

We were six outs from a WS and now this year this far without him.

I would've loved to have him, but he wasn't worth what he wanted. If we signed Chuck it may have meant missing out on Brantley or not being able to resign Yuli.

If you keep CFM you don't have to spend big for Greinke. In hindsight it was a bad move. At the time we all knew the worries but in hindsight it was a bad decision.
