The slider low and away has always been tough on Altuve. He chases that quite a bit. Somewhat like Biggio did. He just has unreal hand-eye to make up for it.

VERY sloppy and unfocused baseball today, especially in key situations. Sleepy team with no energy. ****ty ABs from our best players (Springer and Altuve were just plain awful today). Stranded lead off triple in the late innings.

Made worse by pretty terrible management from Dusty.

Pretty ****ty sports day if the JV news is true. I forgot how awful those can be. Hopefully the Verlander news is wrong. It's only that chode reporting it right now. If it's true, there goes the WS chances anyway.
