I hope I am not considered random, I have > 1,200 Astro thread posts in previous 6 years and have been a fan since 1980. I begrudgingly walked away this season when it restarted because of the BS. I have been respectful and stayed off this thread up until now.

However, no one on TexAgs made this political. The players and the league made this political. If I want to watch politics, then I have infinite viewing options. Sports leagues and athletes need to keep politics 100% out if they want to continue their very privileged existence.

Besides watching a half inning at a restaurant, I have not watched any sports, and that has been difficult for me, and unfair in my opinion. However, I can go to church when I want to be preached at, I shouldn't have to get preached at while watching a game. I also don't appreciate having to explain to kids how wrong their "hero" is when they can't get even the most basic of facts right about Blake's shooting.

There are some people on this thread that I really miss because we shared so many highs and lows, I will fade away again because I refuse to support this insanity, but it must be reiterated that the Astros made this political.
