Yuli ain't no spring chicken. He probably hasn't practiced much at 3rd with Bregman playing every day and Diaz as a serviceable back up. I'm fine with leaving him at first.

I honestly wonder how much of the 2019 Astros Dusty watched... he seems very out of touch with how this team operates. Yuli played 3B quite a bit the last 3 years or so.
That was exactly my point. Our best lineup right now includes Taylor and its not close.

the Astros will not see Dylan Bundy in this series. He pitched yesterday. That's a plus
Is it too much to ask for a 9-1 home stand? That would mean sweeping LAA and Arlington then winning 2 of 3 from the A's. That probably puts us within a game or so if the lead. Only 6 home games left after these 10 so need to make the most of this.
I think the Astros have to sweep the series from the A's to win the division.

Plus it's important for Taylor to get those ABs. It's going to make our choices about who to re-sign a lot easier knowing what we've got with these young guys. SuperJ is never going to be more than a utility bench guy.bearkatag15 said:

Super Jack is batting 1.000 (1-1) against Sandoval in his career. Maybe Dusty is getting into analytics.
