How does the runner starting on 2nd impact a pitcher's stats? That going to count against their ERA and W/L record?

I realize those are pretty worthless stats in today's game, but still can't imagine being too pleased if I was a pitcher.

I disagree. A hit wins the game with a runner at second or third. A sac bunt let's you win with a sac fly, but you only get one chance at that. If you don't get it, you wasted an AB. With the guys we had up, you should expect one will get a hit. Maybe with the guys we've got in the 10th you sac bunt, because they aren't as likely to get a hit.

Probably doesn't count against their ERA, but probably does get you an L.
