i may be in the minority here, and I may be drunk, but i think this rivalry would be more fun if the Rangers were more competitive. Id like to see us fighting tooth and nail for the division lead with them. It would be one hell of a time to watch

I'd like an Astros vs Rangers ALCS. We were close to it in 2015

Rangers didn't make the playoffs in 2013 and 2014. That's an odd 4 year stretch to pick.... especially given astros also made the playoffs in 2015

No, but the Metroplex was still tuned in to baseball in September as the Rangers were battling for the division in 2013, 2015 and 2016, hence the four year stretch.

Rough day for the rangers, especially on this thread.

1) not selling Lynn is hilarious
2) your GM coming out saying you won't be competitive for a few years is extra hilarious, because:

A) we all already knew that, and
B) I was absolutely assured by many posters on this board that tanking is the worst, any team that would do it is garbage, and that the rangers are above it.
