It is weird to hear the echo of the crack of the bat throughout the stadium. Going to be really interesting to hear the players. They're going to have to be on the ball with that 8 second delay this season.

I've watched a little premier league, and I actually wouldn't be too opposed to adding in some crowd noise for the broadcast with an option to watch without it.

not sure the Astros have let one of their players hit free agency (in the recent past) and then re-signed that player in the offseason. (unless it was a reliever)

While I agree with being mad, the commish is the wrong person to be mad at.

TV stations aren't all owned by the owners. It's a Comcast/att/etc issue. They're the ones who lose money from the games not being blacked out, not the owners. It'd hit the owners because of reduced TV contract sizes.

I think it's more a reflection on the league at the catcher position. They are typically the worst hitters in lineups... besides a handful of them they all hit sub .250

When is the last time the Astros had a really good offensive catcher that could hit in the heart of the lineup?
