I dont base my happiness on the actions of people who like a different sports team than I do. If the stros are fortunate enough to make 4 deep playoff runs over the next 4 years, my enjoyment will come from the wins, not from some never gonna happen "gotcha" moment where all the people who made asterisk jokes bend the knee and apologize.

My view during Game 6. It was great being there, even though they lost.

Where I chose to be instead of ALCS game 6 this past year .... in my defense I went to game 2 which was also epic with the Correa walk off

I still vividly remember the banner reveal was so bad ... had to bring in the leaf blower

For me it did. I went back in 06 to several ballparks in the midwest / north east. Wrigley & Fenway just had a special feel to them. Obviously, they lacked a lot of newer amenities and space, but the uniqueness and history more than made it for it in my book. Both had fun atmospheres outside the stadium too. To give a comparison, Old Yankee and Shea both sucked. Shea felt like someone took a can opener to a worse version of the Astrodome. Yankee reminded me of college stadiums who had too many disjointed renovations. No special feel at all like the others.

for me it did, loved the history, saw the astros win in extra innings there in 2014. the older seats can be small and uncomfortable though
