If these suggested baseball rules gain any steam and serious consideration then we can kiss college and NFL football goodbye this year.

The documentary is tentatively titled Sign Language, and the fledgling mobile network says it will be the "definitive documentary about the scandal that rocked America's pastime."

I think Preston could have had a nice platoon niche if teams used him more effectively. His first year up he had a .806 OPS vs righties. It wasn't as good his 2nd and 3rd (one year in the minors) but still at or slightly above avg vs righties.iBrad said:This is true, based on major league stats to date.Ag_07 said:

don't really think it makes a difference. was really no doubt that just about every state would allow pro sports teams to play by July, and was never any doubt Texas wouldCFTXAG10 said:
The governor update today bodes well for the Stros playing at MMP this Summer. Just need to get a deal done.

If you believe relievers should be in the HOF then Billy should get in.
He's 6th all-time in WAR yet 59th in IP.
Lee Smith is in the HOF. He's WAR is 1.2 higher than Wagner's yet he's pitcher ~350 more innings.
If you look at relief pitchers with >500 IP
ERA - 4th
WHIP - 4th
FIP - 6th
xFIP - 4th (not calculated for everyone)
K - 6th (everyone ahead of him has a significant IP lead)
K% - 4th (He's behind Kimbrel, Chapman, & Jansen)
Especially when you think about league average in their primes.DVC2010 said:Farmer1906 said:

That is really impressive.
