Hilarious moment this morning on the West Palm practice fields. Pitchers are walking to a field for warmups. One pitcher is late and walking by himself as a Tigers fan sees him and says, " Hey Justin, I saw you pitch in Lakeland 19 years ago ago and I took this picture! Please come sign it!"

The pitcher stops, takes the pen, hesitates and then asks, "Do you want me to sign it as Verlander or Biagini?"

I said, " Joe, you're suddenly more famous!" He laughed and snapped his finger. "Just like that. I need to call my agent." I was going to crack a Kate joke but Ms. Marvin was standing next to me, haha.

For anyone planning a trip to West Palm, the players are fairly accessible in between practice fields. Get here at 9:30 for a 1pm game and line up for free back field entry at 10:00. Mrs. Marvin took photos with and got autographs from Correa, Yuli, Altuve, Reddick and Dusty so far today.

Severino out for the season. Paxton out for 2 months.

so the signing of Cole basically gets NYY's rotation back to status quo. Doesn't improve it per se over 2017 & 2018

and who knows how healthy Judge, Stanton and some of their other guys will be. Aaron Hicks is out until July as well.

Normally I don't root for injuries, but given they all want our players injured via fastballs to the head... I'll make an exception

oh, and I forgot German. He's suspended for the first 63 games of the 2020 season.

In the white yeah! The worker in the blue had been wanting a ball all game and jumped the fence after it landed and fell pretty hard haha but the ground rule double was hit to me 2 batters before this, then I caught the 3 run homer for the marlins in the 9th... the wind was blowing pretty hard out to left today 4 home runs out our way!
