Interesting conversation i heard on a podcast. Would you take the MLB Salary minimum ($550,000) but you have to lead the league in Hit By Pitches? In the last ten years the leading average is 24.2 HPB to give some retrospect

Yes, considering half would be off speed pitches, if not more, and I've been hit by up to low 90's in hs.

Now you if you say they'd be fastballs to the head, knee, elbow only, I may shortly think about it.

You would also be a fan favorite and could turn your proclivity for HBPs into some solid marketing opportunities later on life. Like advertising for personal injury attorneys or for your very own insurance agency.

I'm not an analytics guy, but I think that OBP should be worth at least 5mil a year.
