Reminds me of jason lane. Guy would pop homeruns when we were up or down by 10.

"I mean, the entire industry was probably expecting it," Hinch said. "Our guy got suspended for an unintentional act, and they got a free shot. ... We'll see if there's discipline. And without discipline, there's not going to be any issue doing it the next time. If retaliations are in, cool. We're well aware."
"He knew he was gonna get hit," Hinch said. "Their guys talk about it, our guys talk about it. This was not a surprise. I wish they would've handled it better. It was too high. If they're gonna hit guys, they need to hit guys the right way. They don't need to throw two sliders, and then throw a guy a neck ball. That's not right. That's not the right way to do it, even if you're allowed to do it, which apparently you are nowadays."
Would have already done this. and have been saying this. This whole situation is on Ausmus. From the minute this happened he was painting Jake as this dirty player and that fed into all of this. Ausmus playing it off after the game like it was an accident that Jake was hit was crap. It should have happened on the first pitch that Jake saw last night. Instead he knew that Joe Torre said there could be no retaliation and they tried to disguise it as "accident" so there would be no punishment. Now it is up to Torre to see if he is going to be true to his word.Quote:
Hell go all Nuke Laloosh and let fly into the dugout towards Ausmus.

Hinch's words say it perfectly. Let's just hope he keeps his word if MLB doesn't step up with an ejection.

What message would that be? What's it like to get hit with a fastball from a 15-year-old?carpediem13 said:
Sounds like the perfect opportunity for Tyler White to take the mound. We send a message, he gets ejected/suspended. I see it as a win/win.
This. First, Jake should have never been suspended for an unintentional collision. All you have to do is look at the replay and its clear it wasn't intentional. But, he was suspended. Was that enough for the Angels? No. They have to throw a neck ball to him. That's some bush league BS. The MLB should suspend that pitcher for an INTENTIONAL act.Ag12thman said:
What a joke. Marisnik did nothing intentional and was trying to win the game. Angels are just crybabies. Let's finally get a win over these jackasses tonight.
