You knew that was going to happen. You all did.

Buddy just bet me that White would bat over .350 for his next 20 ABs.
White will either be on an epic tear or I'm making money. It's a win-win.

I don't like White, but that was a horse**** final strike call.

If White swings at that y'all would criticize him endlessly.
He didn't swing at the meatball right down the pipe either.mazag08 said:

Isn't it 4-2 vs Red Sox and Cubs and 2-2 vs White Sox?mathguy86 said:
On the good side, we just went 6-3 against the Red Sox and Cubs. The last 6 with a AAA team. I'll take it.
I kind of hope this is one of those 10 year bets where he gets a couple of ab's sprinkled in with a lot of minor league assignments.Ag_07 said:

Who would you rather have at 1B. Chris Carter or Tyler White?

Strike 3 was obviously not a strike, but it was close. White has to get his bat off his shoulder in that AB.
I hate that you guys are making me defend Tyler ****ing White...AggiEE said:
On 0-2 that ball was too close to watch
Foul it off and be defensive
If he wanted a good pitch to hit he shouldn't have let that first meatball go by just to get down in the count

It wasn't 0-2, it was 2-2 and a solid 3-4 inches off the plate. Independent of what happened earlier, you can't blame for watching that pitch. The earlier one? Sure. But not the last one

21 guys have 120 or more ABs as a DH. Only one is in single digits in RBI's. Only one is in single digits in runs scored. Only 1 has less that 2 HR. Only one strikes out 34% or more.
It could be worse. He's not last in BA/OBA/SLG. But he's on the short list for those.
