Its like HInch is randomly assigning infield positions the last two days. Not that he has any choice.
Would you have them in some other positions? Id say that looks exactly how i would expect it to...should straw be at SS in front of Gurriel playing third?mathguy86 said:

Yeah, I think 25sh percent is kind of the Mendoza Line, without actually looking anything up. When you start falling below that teams will take more and more chances against you. At 17%, I would be suprised if teams didn't try to exploit that in low-scoring type games in the postseason. Last year they specifically mentioned the Red Sox base running in one of the reasons we traded for Maldonado.PSully97 said:It looks bad if you don't know that Vazquez (BOS) is leading the league at only 39% (7/18). That's only 5 or 6 bases better than Chirinos. He does everything else pretty well defensively and his offense more than makes up for his arm.willjohnathan said:
Anyone else concerned with our sb% against sto far? Stassi is 2/14 in throwing out runners and Chirinos is 4/24. Is Stubbs is any better? It can become a real liablility in hard fought playoff games.
