The A's are surging right now and have cut the lead to 6.5 games as of today with a weekend series vs them this weekend. Gaps can close pretty quickly. Just look at 2016

I mean until altuve is back why not just plug him in there daily so he at least gets daily PT over worse players?
He shakes things up I get that but I just find it somewhat odd
