I was just about to say how terrible these look. Actually didn't mind last years version though. Maybe that's because I'm a lifelong Stros fan though. Didn't buy one as I had just bought the WS Astros hat and it didn't even arrive until we'd already won.

they may be the first to lose back-to-back on their home field.

the Rangers lost in St. Louis in 2011 and the Braves lost in Minnesota in 1991. The 1977 Dodgers lost in New York in the Reggie Jackson 3 home run game

America loved the Astros last year. They were a feel good story. The games were also more entertaining.

Nobody wants to watch east coast or west coast teams. We're tired of them as they are all we are exposed to all season in every sport.

Everyone loves watching the Dodgers, Red Sox, or Yankees lose... no one wants to watch the slobfest when they meet up and one of them has to win.

Astros/ dodgers or Brewers/ Red Sox would have gotten better ratings.

those ratings are surprising. Generally speaking matchups of cross-country teams are desired...and especially those in very large markets.

FOX has to be scratching their heads as to what happened.

I agree that the Astros were a much more lovable team than either LA or Boston

Hell now I'm pissed at the Dodgers that we're not able to watch a Game 7 tonight. Going to feel a little longer until Spring Training this year. I think I was riding the high of the WS win last year until Christmas.

The 2017 World Series got better ratings, but games 6 and 7 really skew the difference.

12.6 and 15.8 ratings; no other game in either year got more than 10.7 ratings.

The 2016 World Series blows everything away going back until Yankees/Phillies.
