Anyone started playing yet? Have it but because of work haven't got to play. Any differences? Or just same game with new players.
I'd sell him. There's a good chance SDS drops him to gold at some point this season, and lower diamonds are way overvalued shortly after the game is released.Bobby Jimbo said:
I got it. I preordered from Gamestop and got a diamond Josh Donaldson in one of my preorder packs. I'm currently debating if I should sell him or not.
Good point. He was going for around 70k stubs when I checked last night. Bregman is going for about 5000 now I think, and there is a possibility of him going diamond. I'd rather have him too anyway.Dirty Mike and the Boys said:I'd sell him. Stubs are the currency that is used to buy cards and other items in Diamond Dynasty mode.AstroAggie15 said:
Can someone explain to me the stubs/diamon/gold stuff?
In regards to the player cards, you can add them to your team to play with, which you can either take online and play against other players or play against the computer in conquest mode (similar to the board game Risk).AstroAggie15 said:
And what do the cards do?
I'd say RTTS is a lot more realistic. More cut scenes, and little differences. Unfortunately you still can't choose which team you get drafted by or make your guy older than 18. One difference is the camera angles after you hit the ball is different... more zoomed out and that's an improvement. You get a lot more customizable options with batting stance, animations, and appearance.I Like Turtles said:
I don't do diamond dynasty either. Road to show and franchise guy here. Would you say that RTTS has improved with this change?

Also one AWESOME change.... you can wear the Astros "2002" uniforms. Aka the pinstripes and gray/brick unis with black cap from a few years ago

I didn't play last year's game, but you could pick your team in previous versions.

2016 was the last year you could pick your team. 17 didn't allow it
traded at the worst possible time ... and then it autosaves.Aggie1205 said:tjholley17 said:Gramercy Riffs said:tjholley17 said:

I feel like you always get traded anyway.

I started a road to the show, got drafted by the Angels as a second basemen and was on the fast track to getting called up. Then traded to the Red Sox and have spent a season in triple A where I hit .520 with 45 HR and 115 RBI in 90 games without getting called up because I'm behind Pedroia
