The only thing that has ever mattered in baseball is how you play the game. Bat speed, hard work, arm strength/accuracy, getting a jump, soft hands, fundamentals.

You never have to tell a kid that he's too small. You never have to tell a kid he should be in basketball or football. Either you can play or you can't. Period. Love it.

Now if we could just keep the knuckle-headed HS football coaches from fancying themselves as baseball talent evaluators...

Yet the media is sooooo in love with Judge. Yes, he had a good season for the most part. Altuve is arguably the best player in the game despite his size. The only other player I put on his level is Trout, and he'll have as much impact on this postseason as I do.

Had some Yankee fans try to use Judge's Fangraph WAR for their argument. Altuve leads in Baseball Reference's WAR category. COMPLETE WASH.

Altuve is in the top 5 of almost every damn category that's a worth a ***** Judge is incredible, but how can you ignore his July and August? MVPs should be consistent to some degree.
