Figure this might be better than the travel forum. I'm going to be in Chicago for the marathon (Oct 8) so the Cubs season will either be over or in the playoffs. My question is, do they run tours in the offseason or playoff time? There isn't anything on the calendar yet but I'm just hoping they are just seeing how the end of the season plays out.

Yes they do. I went last year during the playoffs when they weren't playing.

I've been on about a dozen MLB ballpark tours. Do the tour but prepare to be underwhelmed.

My dad and I did a Wrigley Field tour about 3 years ago when the Cubs were in town. I enjoyed it a lot even though we weren't allowed to visit the clubhouses or dugouts because it was a game day. It was short but the tour guides at Wrigley really know their stuff. They do a good job of telling the backstories behind a lot of what gives Wrigley its character. Hope y'all have a good time!
