I can't remember seeing anything about these "fauxbacks" from 93. It was a white uniform with red piping and and old English font 'T'.

Of course, the era the club was attempting to portray was a time the Rangers didn't exist in the professional sense. But looks like they tried to target baseball fashion of the 30's.

Does anyone recall seeing these worn back then?

It looks like the baseball version of the Detroit red wings throwbacks.

I remember them, but I don't think they wore them very often. IIRC, in the early 90's the White Sox started the whole throwback craze around the time they ditched the red/blue and went back to the black/white unis. Suddenly everyone wanted uniforms that looked like they were from the early 20th century and those were the Rangers effort.
