In about half an hour, I'll be driving 45 minutes to watch the game with my dad. A Houston native, he first watched the Astros at age 5.. the year they became the "Astros" and moved into the dome. I went to Game 5 and spoke with him on the phone last night for about an hour all about the game, the atmosphere, the team, etc. He sounded like that giddy 5 year old from 1965. My biggest takeaway from our conversation was when he said: "Ya know, when you have loved and lived and died with something for 50+ years, no matter how trivial it may be... it becomes a part of you. I'll cry if they win this thing."

I probably will too, Dad. How can you not be romantic about baseball?

First elimination game too. Vegas has been making a little scratch. IF there is a game seven let's see what the final line is IN Chavez Ravine.
