Disagree wholeheartedly. That's the number one time it makes sense. New pitcher, new strategy, a little motivation from your leader. It doesn't waste any time, they signal/call before getting to the mound, the guy is already coming in by the time the manager reaches the mound half the time.bearkatag15 said:
There could also be another way to yank a pitcher besides having the manager slowly walk out to the mound and conference with the in field. He should be able to make that move from the dugout and the current pitcher just leaves the mound and the next pitcher comes out from the pen.
I am pretty sure he will be pitching on Sunday for AL pitcher of the month.agdaddy04 said:

Miggy story from yesterday
I sell produce to Minute Maid Park, yesterday I was waiting to talk to the chef inside the media entrance on the east side by the diamond club parking. Usual B-listers like Kevin Eschenfelder were making there way through while I waited. Then I heard the security guard murmer "good afternoon Mr. Cabrera." The magnitude did not immediately register as I turned around toward the elevator. A large, latin man with white earrings, tattered jeans and arms like coconut trees was waiting there. We locked eyes, my mouth slightly agape. What do I do? Say "sup Miggy?", snap a selfie.... neither I froze, and just like that he walked into the elevator and out of my life, before I even got the chance to check out his ankles.
